Good Evening All,
As you can see I've not stuck to my promises I set out to achieve this week, it's been a little while since I last wrote you. #sorry
Possibly, I create an unrealistic list of goals to complete within a given day, or life for that matter. Perhaps I forget there is only 24 hours in a day and although we have the same amount of time as Beyonce we may not have the same amount of help, finances, or Chanel even. We are all doing just fine, that Beyonce motivational quote thats circulating the internet is no #inspo and will be the death of me. #dramaqueen Basically, I live by the feast of famine approach to life, it's not proven to be entirely effective as of yet but it's not like me to give up.
Anyway, today has been painfully hot reaching the high 30's and impossible to exist in an unairconditioned flat. After serval failed naps and still little desire to move I went to Myer, where there is always air-con and I was in desperate need of Chanel, just a lipstick (totally saving for a new bag) and stubbled across Lena Dunham's Not That Kind Of Girl. I strongly advise if you're a hot mess like myself to get yourself a copy, you can pick one up here. Her book is skillfully written (unlike this old thing), ever so witty and gives me hope that my creativity and awkwardness might just lead me somewhere. Naturally, I feel a close connection to a hard core opp shopper #bff and feel this book and me are going to work out. In other news my new desk and chair that came to $20 from vinnies is coming along quite nicely, it appears I've done a few things right this week.
Thanks for listening. I trust you've had a great week and hope that I set the bar for life low enough that you step over it with the greatest of ease, in some fabulous shoes of course. #fashionista
Keep it real babes!
xx
